Das Kernproblem: Fehlende Kondition im Aufschlagspiel

Der Aufschlag, das Fundament, zerfällt ohne gezielte Fitness. Viele Spieler geben zu früh auf, weil die Ausdauer einfach nicht mitspielt. Und hier liegt die Brutstätte des Scheiterns.

Warum klassische Ausdauertraining nicht reicht

Joggen im Park? Klingt nach Fitness, ist aber ein schlechter Ersatz für sportartspezifische Belastung. Beim Tennis braucht man explosive Kraft, schnelle Regeneration zwischen den Punkten und ein Herz, das nicht bei 80% aussetzt, wenn das Match über 3 Stunden geht.

Die drei Säulen echter Tennisfitness

Erst: Schnellkraft. Sprünge, Medizinballwürfe, kurze Sprints – das trainiert den Muskel, der beim Return den Ball fliegt.

Zweitens: Beweglichkeit. Dynamisches Dehnen, Yoga-Flows, gezielte Hüftöffnungen. Ohne diese Flexibilität verliert jeder Slice seine Schärfe.

Drittens: Herz-Kreislauf-Resistenz. Intervall-HIIT, nicht Dauerlauf. 30 Sekunden Höchstleistung, 30 Sekunden Pause – das spiegelt das Punkt-zu-Punkt-Tempo wider.

Praxisbeispiel: Der 45-Minuten-Plan

Aufwärmen, 5 Minuten leichtes Joggen, dann 10 Minuten Sprungdrills. Direkt danach 10 Minuten Medizinballrotationen. Abschließend 15 Minuten Intervall-HIIT: 20 Sekunden Sprint, 40 Sekunden locker laufen, wiederholen. Das ist kein Zufall, das ist Wissenschaft.

Fehler, die du sofort vermeiden musst

Keine langen, monotonen Cardio-Sessions. Keine “einmal pro Woche” Krafttraining. Und vor allem: keine Ausreden, weil das Wetter schlecht ist. Dein Training muss indoor-freundlich sein, sonst bleibt es ein Wunschtraum.
